Insertable Binder

  1. Should all page/sheet sizes be shown as 11" x 8.5"?

We are trying to limit the amount of packaging in our products. We will not supply the title insert sheet. It is expected the individual consumer will use either their personal ink jet or digital printer.  We will be supplying templates on our website for the clients to download.

Printer Contact Binder

  1. Would this binder be primarily for the Copy departments at the schools? I am confused with the term Printer.

When we use the word Printer we am referring to a Copy Centre (IN-house at the school) or off campus supplier and Commercial Print Shops not the physical device.

    2.  What does C I S  mean?

C I S full sheet pre-scored and diecut contact sheet. Coated one side.(ie: It is glossy for a top quality print.)

    3.  Is the sheet included with the binder?

It will be supplied with the binder with a couple of spare sheets for the printer to setup. (It is currently being tested in both a litho and digital press in its die-cut and scored format) Not all of our target printing customers have the capability to prepare this sheet (we are calling it the graphic skin sheet.) We propose that certain customers will buy the poly binder blank in bulk without the Graphic Skin Sheet.

     4. Would I be correct that a Printer could use all 3 binders?

Of course the printer could use all 3 binder types. Do not forget that we can handle all of these binders as Custom imprinted and assembled product if requested. We would silk screen print the binders. The ink to be used on the corrugate is water soluble and drain safe with little to no VOC’s; less than those found in standard poly inks.  VOC's are Contaminates that evaporate into the air while drying.
